Divorce Process
There are two stages involved in the Singapore Divorce Process. In the First Stage, the Courts will deal with the termination of the marriage itself. Here, the Court will decide whether the marriage should be dissolved. In the Second Stage, the Courts will deal with the Ancillary matters. These include;
- division of marital assets
- custody of the children
- maintenance of the wife and children (where applicable)
Divorce is not an easy event to get through. The divorce process can be painful and isolating and the hurdles overwhelming.
